My Father’s Place Guesthouse is the residence of the Sylvester's Family
of Marigot, Dominica, West Indies. After the death of the father, the late
Mr. Edney Sylvester, the family members decided to turn the house
into a guesthouse. They added several apartments on the premises.
The family house is about seventy years old, and was built by Mr. Edney
Sylvester himself, with strong wood from the forest. The house has the
ambience of an old-fashioned wooden house, with a library, a lounge,
wireless Internet access, and several bed-rooms. A new part is adjoined,
with a spacious open living-room, which makes the main house
very attractive.
The family lives abroad all over the world, America, England, Canada,
and Germany, and comes back quite often to Dominica for a visit.
